Vision commenced a contract with a Hotel chain in Croatia (owned by a French Property Company) in November 2011 and immediately realised the need for an Asset Manager with strong Commercial and Distribution experience.  Having worked with Rachel previously I asked her to take an eleven month contract as Asset Manager to work with me to turn this faltering hotel chain around.

Rachel’s focus on process, organisational structure and team development and knowledge of eCommerce and Revenue strategies has not only helped enable a 17% increase in room revenues in 2012 but also left the hotel company with the structure and framework it needs in order to be self-sufficient and successful throughout the coming year.  Processes and plans are now in place to ensure next year’s season is a success.  One of her final tasks was to help deliver the 2013 budget plan which is a detailed segment by segment analysis and forecast of growth potential of a further 15% for 2013.

Rachel is resilient, thorough and determined and also takes time to develop good working relationships with both senior and junior team members .  Shortly after the start of her contract the Head of Commercial left and Rachel rose to the challenge to head the Sales and Marketing team until a replacement could be found.

Although this particular contract has now finished, Vision will be keen to work with Rachel again on future projects.
